THOMAS BENNETTS CHRISTENED IN ENGLAND ABOUT 1587

We know from Jamestown census records that Thomas Bennett of Blackwater was born in England about 1587. There are no indications whatsoever that he was born in Wiveliscombe, Somerset. It might be so, but there is simply no record for it.

The following is what I find at FamilySearch.org for christenings during 1586-1588. It's highly likely there were many more, recorded or otherwise. It might be wise to expand the spread of dates.

This isn't much to go on but it's a start for those who wish to stomp the pavement looking for the home of Blackwater Thomas Bennett (and that's very much needed.)
